A large part of our club ethos is that we are part of something bigger than ourselves — our club, our sport and our local community.
Our Community Outreach Team received the RFU President’s XV Award for Social Inclusion in 2011. Since then we’ve built London’s largest women’s rugby squad and one of the largest junior programmes in the city.
We work with Young Hackney, London Youth, Hackney Education, Girlguiding, Scouts UK and Childline, run rugby festivals with Hackney Youth (the sport arm of Hackney Council) and set up programmes in youth clubs across the borough.
