Below are the captains of our senior Men’s and Gladies (women’s) teams since the club was founded in 1965. Our women’s section — the Gladies — was founded in 2010.
From Dennis Jarvis in the inaugural 1965/66 season, through Les Armstrong and Peter Laverack (seven seasons), to today’s 1st XV co-captains Jacob Cole and Greg Vooght — nearly 60 years of leading the Griffins.
From Emma Middleton in the inaugural 2010/11 season to current 1st XV co-captains Justine Despins and Camilla Turchetti — two decades leading the largest women’s section in the UK.
