Hackney Rugby Club is an inclusive, community-focused club: anyone is welcome. We are built on respect for all, commitment to our community, and inclusivity at every level.
Founded in 1965 (originally Old Griffins RFC), Hackney and Hackney Bulls merged in 2004. Our women’s section, founded in 2010, is now the largest in the UK. In 2014 the club won the RFU President’s XV Award for Social Inclusion.
We align with England Rugby’s core values — Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.
